The Bookmobile is Back on the Road

The New Castle-Henry County Public Library has announced that the Bookmobile is getting back on the road. Beginning Monday, July 6, the mobile library will run its summer schedule through Friday, August 14. The schedule can be found at here, and print calendars are available at the library.

In order to adhere to proper social distancing, there will be a maximum of two patrons or one family allowed on the bus at a time. Library staff be wearing face masks and there will be sneeze guards at both desks. High-touch areas will be disinfected frequently, and library materials will be quarantined for 72 hours prior to being checked in and shelved.

Free wi-fi will be available in and around the bookmobile. Books, DVDs, magazines, and audiobooks can be checked out by patrons with a valid library card. Patrons may also call ahead and request to pick up holds on the bus. Those items will be checked out and handed to guests to avoid entering the bus.
