How can I help?

donate

Friends accept donations of new or used books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, videotapes, and audio books. Friends sell these items at quarterly book sales, in the Lower Level Book Room, and Upper Level Book Shop.

Consider serving with the Book Sale, Hospitality, Special Projects/Fundraising Event committees. Make or serve refreshments, process and prepare items for sale, or help with a fundraising event. Leave your contact information at the main desk or send an e-mail to nchclibraryfriends@gmail.com.

shop

Visit the Friends Upper Level Book Shop, located across from the main service desk. Browse a large collection of used books and more in the Lower Level Book Room, located near the auditorium. The Book Shop and Book Room are both open during the hours the library is open.

Watch for information about quarterly book sales on the Friends Facebook page. In addition to used books, there are CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines.
