The Seed Library

The Seed Library at New Castle-Henry County Public Library’s is free for all to use and is available during the library’s regular hours. It is located on the upper level in front of the Indiana Room.

What is a seed lending library?

A seed library contains a selection of heirloom seeds that residents can borrow for no charge. When their plants grow, the recipients of the seeds donate a portion of the seeds from their own plants back to the seed library for others to use.
