This class will better prepare you for your first steps into photography. This beginner-friendly class is designed to help you navigate the world of cameras with confidence. We will discuss different types of cameras like the DSLR, Mirrorless, Compact “bridge” cameras and we will even have some discussion about using
your cell phone as a camera. We will strive to better understand megapixels, sensor size and the right lens for you, the photographer. This class is perfect for the aspiring photographers, hobbyists, or anyone who wants to invest in the right
camera without feeling overwhelmed by the myriad choices available to them.
Marvin Groves is a Professional Photographer and a native Hoosier that began his
career in 1970. Marvin has provided workshops in photography and is an accomplished Photoshop user. He does his own printing from his home in Springport where he resides with his wife of 38 years. He is a Lifetime member of the Professional Photographers of America and belongs to the Muncie Camera Club, Raintree Camera Club, the Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild and the Indiana Wildlife Artist Association.
