The countdown to summer has begun, and it comes with the excitement of our much-anticipated Summer Reading program!
Get ready to dive into a world of books, fun, and unforgettable adventures starting June 1st.
Summer Reading Kickoff
Mark your calendars for June 1st at 6:30 PM and join us at the youth football league fields for our Summer Reading Kickoff event. Enjoy tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), yummy food, toe-tapping music, and a special appearance by the one and only Dragon who loves tacos!
Summer Reading Details
Summer Reading officially launches on June 1st and runs through July 20th!
Each age group must log 800 minutes to be eligible for the grand prize. There will be one grand prize each for the Adults and Teens, as well as weekly prize giveaways.
Every child that completes Summer Reading (800 minutes) will receive a book, a variety of toys, and a raffle ticket. This raffle ticket will be used to be entered into a grand prize drawing! 19 winners will be drawn for the grand prizes.

Track your reading minutes by using the Reader Zone app or website. You can also stop by the library to grab a paper reading log!
