Celebrate National Good Neighbor Day.
In 1978 President Jimmy Carter signed National Good Neighbor Day into law. Here’s your chance to celebrate our neighborhoods. Come in and create a card to give to your neighbor. If you already know your neighbor this card is a great way to show how much you appreciate them. If you haven’t met your neighbor yet, this could be a way to introduce yourself. There will be card stations in the storytime room and at the reference desk. There will also be a list of ways you can do something nice for your neighbor in case you need some ideas.
