The 2022 Library of Trees will open during the Downtown Christmas Walk on Thursday, December 1st at 6pm. The trees will remain up for public viewing until Monday, January 2nd. Patrons, organizations, school classrooms and sports teams are encouraged to decorate an artificial Christmas tree based on a book of their choice.
Stop by the library during regular business hours to see a variety of beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Patrons can vote for their favorite trees by placing canned food items under the trees of their choice. The tree with the most food donations by Monday, December 19 will be the Library of Trees Food Donation Champion and will receive a trophy. Patrons can also vote for the best decorated tree by visiting the main circulation desk and submitting a paper vote. The tree with the most paper votes will be the 2022 Library of Trees Best Decorated Champion and will also receive a trophy.
