Interactive Reading Experiences Available Through TumbleBooks

Looking for a fun, unique way to entertain the kids? Check out all that TumbleBooks has to offer. Through TumbleBooks, New Castle-Henry County Public Library card holders can access over 1,100 titles.

TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books for children. They help inspire the joy of reading through an exciting, kid-friendly format. TumbleBooks adds animation, sound, music, and narration to already existing books.

TumbleBooks have even more to offer, including National Geographic videos and games, chapter books, read-along books, graphic novels, videos, puzzles, games, language learning, and more! Throughout the year, new titles are automatically included.

While TumbleBooks does not include the ability to download materials, it is possible for subscribers to have unlimited access to all of the books. This allows for opportunities such as having every student in a class read the same book at the same time.

An app is available for devices. Search for “Tumblebooks” in the App Store or on Google Play. It is tested and approved by Children’s Librarian, Lynn Thomas. She also expressed, “It’s a great way for parents to allow screen time because their children will be learning at the same time. The games and quizzes help to make learning fun!”

TumbleBooks is an excellent resource for parents and students during this time of learning at home. Discover more about it by following this link
