Important Updates from your Library

The library will be temporarily closed from February 24 – March 2 due to construction.

Children’s Department Updates

The Children’s Department will be closing on February 10 and will remain closed until the library reopens following its temporary closure.

Scheduled storytimes will be moved off-site until the entire move is completed. You will still be able to place holds on items and pick them up, but will not have access to browse the Children’s collection until the entire downstairs reopens.

Borrow Big & Help Us Move!

Help us make the move easier by checking out as many materials as you can before February 24—you’ll have plenty to read, watch, and enjoy while we’re closed, and you’ll help lighten our load!

Don’t wait—February 24 will be here before we know it! Stop by and stock up today!

Resources Available During Closure

This is a great time to explore the library’s digital resources, including Creativebug, Mango, and Libby!

The bookmobile will continue operating as usual. You are encouraged to visit a bookmobile stop to find books during the transition! You can find the bookmobile schedule here.

Where do I go when the Library reopens?

Once the library reopens, the entrance off of the parking lot will be the main entrance for Phase 2. The reopening of the parking lot entrance provides much easier access to the library for patrons. The 15th street entrance will remain closed until construction is fully complete.

During Phase 2, because of limited space, there will not be any meeting or study spaces available to the public.
