Books and Badges is a monthly girl power book club run by Girl Coalition of Indiana in partnership with the New Castle-Henry County Public Library. Participants (grades 1-3) will receive a copy of the book and do a book talk as well as an activity related to the topic of each book.
March 18th’s Book: Path to the Stars: My Journey from Girl Scout to Rocket Scientist
Badge: Space and Science Adventurer
- 5:30-6:00 pm: Eat, introductions
- 6:00-6:30 pm: Book discussion
- 6:30-7:00 pm: Make/decorate a telescope, learn about what things you can see with a telescope
