The Bookmobile
The bookmobile serves residents of Henry County with a large collection of materials for all ages, including a variety of books and DVDs.
On the move
The loan period for books checked out from the bookmobile is 4 weeks (28 days), and 2 weeks (14 days) for DVDs and magazines. Items may be renewed by phone or through the website by signing in to your account.
Bookmobile stops may be canceled because of holidays, weather conditions, or mechanical difficulties. The Library’s online calendar will be updated to reflect any changes.

Books to Your Door
Home Delivery
Making a trip to the library is something not everyone is able do. When it’s not possible to go to the library, invite the library to come to you. New Castle-Henry County Public Library Outreach Services provides on-location library services to homebound, senior citizens, day care centers, retirement communities, and families with disabled individuals. The New Castle-Henry County Public Library Borrowed Materials Policy applies to all materials delivered. Request a home delivery by sending an e-mail to outreach@nchcpl.org.
Books by Mail
Reading can be a source of enjoyment, freedom, and connection. Readers with disabilities, whether short-or long-term, can benefit from Books by Mail, an outreach service of New Castle-Henry County Public Library. This service allows readers to have audio books and large print books delivered directly to their homes. The New Castle-Henry County Public Library Borrowed Materials Policy applies to all materials delivered.
