Get ready for a colorful start to Summer Reading 2025!
Our summer reading program, Color Our World, kicks off on Saturday, June 7—and this year, we’re closing the season with a spectacular community art gallery on Saturday, July 19.
Throughout the summer, we’re inviting readers of all ages to create book-themed artwork and submit it to be displayed in our “Once Upon a Palette” Gallery, the grand finale event of our reading adventure!
🎨What Is the “Once Upon a Palette” Gallery?
The Once Upon a Palette Gallery is a one-day community art show where stories come to life through the eyes of local artists. Whether your favorite book inspired a painting, a sculpture, or a colorful collage, we’d love to feature your work!
Artwork categories include both 2D and 3D formats, and submissions are open to children, teens, and adults.
🖌️ How to Participate
📅 Submit your artwork any time between June 7 and July 18.
📍 Drop it off at the library front desk with a completed submission card (available at the library or downloadable online)
